A bigger hammer

The old adage says “if it don’t fit, don’t force it get a bigger hammer” runs true around here.  We recently added a 4,580 kg hydraulic hammer to compliment our 3,860 hydraulic hammer, which makes 2 new hammers this year for us – an investment of over $ 200,000.  This new hammer is ideally suited to blast free mining, secondary rock breaking, concrete removal and foundation work.  Currently it’s working at the  Lac Des Iles Mine breaking rock .
